As usual these hooks from phoxinus are in my opinion very good quality, they are very sharp and most importantly for me are not brittle. I use them for drop shotting for perch, prefering a long shank hook to thread worms onto, as opposed to the recommended short shank. Being aberdeen they are quite fine wire but plenty strong enough for what I need. The black coating could be better, it flakes off quite easily but is not a real concern for me because they cost so little I tie on a fresh hook to start each session. Delivery was very quick and efficient.
Took a punt on these hooks, very poor quality the paint is chipped off every single hook which means they rust after a single use in saltwater, don't waste your money on these
I'm sorry that the coating isn't 100% on these. That's not the norm and the coating should be sufficient to give them a decent life. You didn't leave your contact details with this review so I'm unable to contact you, but if you get it touch we'll make it right.
Good quailty product but only received 48 out of 50 hooks.
